Momma turns 29!

Yesterday was my birthday. It was a beautiful day here in Alabama-85
Kasey mowed the lawn, and we had gotten a trailer full of mulch, so I put down mulch in my flower beds-at least I started them. Kendall hung out with us outside most of the day. It was a good day. Last night mom and dad came over and we went to eat at Macaroni Grill for my birthday. It was very good! We came home and had ice cream cake and opened gifts.

Kasey had already gotten satellite radio installed into my car last week, so that was my gift from him. Kendall sent me a beautiful bouquet of flowers to work on Thursday. Mom and dad gave me a gift certificate to Terrame Day Spa, that I will enjoy in the very near future. They also gave me a scrapbook, so I can start putting Kendall's pictures in it. Dad is making me a porch swing, although it is not done. He had to wait on his nail gun. He got that yesterday though, so I hope it is done in the next 12 months! I also got an outside thermometer. I can't forget the big chunk of cash that my mother in law sent me. It was spent before I ever got it that day and finally on me, not Kendall.

It was a good day. I must enjoy my last year of being in my 20's!

Yay, I'm the first to wish you a (belated) Happy 29th Birthday! Sounds like you had a nice day. All this spa talk and being able to work in your flowerbeds is making me envious!

Happy Birthday! Sounds like it was such a good one! Good food and great gifts!

About the larger scrapbooks.. Usually 12x12 is the standard. The only thing I can think of that would be a little bigger would be something that might be used as an art portfolio. Possible something that Hobby Lobby would have. I don't know how you feel about trimming the pics.. I guess it would depend on the picture, but you may be able to take a half inch off the top and bottom and then it would fit right in a 12x12.
