Results of Ultrasound!

IT'S A GIRL!!!!!!
Kendall is going to have a sister just like he said.

I can't begin to tell you how excited we are. Well I'm excited. I think Kasey is getting there, since there is really nothing he can do about it. Ha ha!

Everything else looked great on her and she was moving all around and throwing her punches and kicks at me. I could not feel them though. Heartbeat was 152bpm today and I have gaine 2lbs,so up 8 total vs. 12+ by this point with Kendall, so I'm a happy camper. Maybe I will not gain 50lbs this time around!

Girl Shot

Mouth Open shot

She is actually sticking her tongue out in this one. Already a little stinker!

Faced with another Ear Infection

Kendall has an ear infection despite the fact that he has ear tubes. The pediatrician said that the tube was very close and appeared to be falling out which is normal. They last 6mths or more, so almost a year is good. Unfortunatly that means that his ear did not drain properly and the crud he has had for a month now since he first had croup has stayed in his system and gotten worse and now caused for a nice big ear infection.

I on the other hand feel like a terrible mother in regards to this since he had been complaining off and on about his ear hurting since the weekend, but I blew it off as how could it and he is 2 1/2 so how accurate could it really be. He has had a fever off and on though since Sunday up to 104, and green snot, so I knew he probably was fighting something.

This morning when he woke up screaming is when I decided it was probably time to get it checked out. Well we left there with a shot of rocephin in his leg and we have to go back tomorrow and Saturday for two additional shots. Count me as bad mom of the year.

Kasey is also sick and left the dr.'s office yesterday with a rocephin shot, steroid shot and 10 days of antibiotic. I fortunatly (knocking on wood) have not gotten this crud that has spread through my family and my parents. Thank goodness since I'm 4mths pregnant!

We have an appointment next Wednesday with Kendall's ENT to check his tube instead of waiting until January. I anticipate he will probably be getting another tube put in, and possibly as early as next Friday if it is not infected.
