Happy New Year/Goals

We hope you all had a wonderful holiday season. We sure did. There is something so special about sharing the holidays with children. It makes it so much more special!

Some goals I have for 2010! Notice I said goals. I don't set resolutions because I never stick with them. Maybe if I call them goals, I can set them and hope to accomplish them.

*Work on my scrapbooking. I want to finish Kendall's first year book by the end of January and work on the second year. Obviously I will never get caught up, but maybe! I also want to get started on Harper's because I can honestly say I must be the worst mother ever when it comes to doing this stuff. I have not printed a single picture of her since she was born "gasp" 8 months ago.

*I want to blog more regularly and keep tract of what is going on in our lives. I can't keep trying to recap a month at a time, although I do say I've done a good job at it. obviously I'm going to have to get started by recapping December.

*I want to become more organized at home and try to keep up with keeping the house cleaned. I know if Kasey is reading this, he is probably having a heart attach right about now since I said that "cleaning" word. Ha! Something hit me over the weekend and I just could not stand the way the pantry looked, so I got it done. My next task is to get the kitchen cabinets reorganized. We have a lot of appliances that need better homes!

*I want to become more organized at work too and keep my office neater. I accomplished that today actually by cleaning out old files and getting stuff that needed to be filed put away. I have a goal to be a little more assertive at work too. I have really gotten kind of slack since having kids. I just don't have the motivation I used to have. I would rather be at home I guess.

*I want my family to start eating better and not eating so much fast food on the weekends. Lots of veggies coming our way!

*I want to be a little more patient with Kendall. It is really hard sometimes when he is acting crazy. I just automatically spank him. I know spanking is fine, but I really feel that I'm spanking him and it is not doing any good or making a difference. I keep telling me this is just a 3 yr old stage and he will outgrow it, but patience patience patience!

Be sure to check our our other blog about the kids.
