18 Months Old! Pictures to share......

Yesterday Kendall turned 18 months old. How can it be?! Seems like he just was born yesterday and in 6 months, he will be TWO! Time flies way to fast.
He had his well baby appointment today and everything checked out great. The dr. said he is really interactive for his age, and is saying some advanced words for his age also.

Stats include:
22. 7 1/2 lbs-moving closer to 25% but still in the 10-15% range (up from 21.11 lbs at 15mths)
32 inches-50% (up from 31 inches at 15mths)
48cm(head circumfrance) 65%

So basically he is a little body with a big head! Ha ha!This morning I took him to get his 18mth photos, the first ones since he was one except the school pictures. Here are some of the shots(Judy-don't print, I'm bringing them to you at Christmas.)

Christmas Tree and Mantle Pictures

We finally got some pictures of all my hard work! I'm really impressed with the way my mantle turned out, and Kasey thinks it looks like a Christmas Window. For those who don't know, my main tree is a real tree and it is all santa ornaments(a tradition that I started when I owned my home) and airplane ornaments(a tradition that Kasey had at his old home) The only other ornament on there is one from Kendall's first Christmas(his handprint) I get a new santa ornament every year.

A busy weekend and an update on Kendall

Now that you have seen some of the posts from our busy weekend I will tell you about it. Saturday morning we took Kendall to the Ringling Brothers Circus. We had a great time and yes Kendall did too. He sat still for 2 hrs and loved the whole thing. Saturday evening as you know we had Kasey's work party.

Sunday morning we got up and picked Kendall up from my parents house and headed out to get our Christmas tree. Sunday afternoon, we took Kendall back to my parent's house and then headed to watch Hannah and Wesley Box perform in A Yultide Ballet. They did great and we really enjoyed the show.

Now an update on Kendall. He has been sick again. Last Sunday he started coughing like a barking dog, so I took him in on Monday because we thought he had croup. He didn't have it yet, but had a fever virus and cough. As the week went on, he got worse. I took him back on Friday and he had croup and an ear infection. They gave me some steroids to give him that day to help with croup and an antibiotic. His cough was better that afternoon from just two doses of steroids. Tonight he started throwing up. Let me tell you having a baby throwing up is not really very fun especially when your husband is not here to help. Right now he is sleeping. I hope he is ok through the night. I don't know if it is phlem or a virus. It is hard to tell, but he threw up a lot. I went to give him a bath and he did it again all over my bathroom floor.

I'm praying I don't get it next.

O Christmas Tree!

I took a half of day off to come home and decorate the house. Kasey has been traveling quite a bit lately, and I just don't seem to have any time to do things. I wanted to get decorated, and it is very hard to do while watching Kendall.
So here are two of my three trees. I know Kasey is reading this and thinking three trees! Yes three trees baby! I will post a picture of the mantel when I'm finished with it. I'm currently building a gingerbread house.

Finding that perfect Christmas Tree!

We went Sunday morning for our annual trip to the Christmas tree farm. Kendall had a blast walking around the tree farm. We got the perfect tree as usual, although it is a bit funny looking at the bottom due to some branches being cut off.

Our first official party of the season

Saturday December 1, we went to Kasey's company party. It was held at the Ledges and a lot of fun. We can't wait for my company party in two weeks though. It will be LOADS of Fun!!!

A fun weekend at the cabin

We had a great weekend at the cabin. We went up early Saturday morning and left Sunday afternoon around lunch time. Kendall enjoyed being outside so much. He loves to be outside and is really starting to whine when he can't be out because of cold weather or rain. He is our little outdoor guy though. Kasey took us on a little ride. He hooked the trailer to the 4-wheeler and pulled us around. Kendall actually fell asleep. That is why he looks like he is in a daze when he is sitting there with me. We are looking forward to going back soon.

Our little Stinker with Mama and Daddy

Happy Halloween!!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN FROM OUR LITTLE STINKER!

Kendall had a great time walking around mama and daddy's offices today. Everyone had compliments about his costume. We took him trick or treating tonight on our street. He walked half way around our street. What a trooper! He should be worn out tomorrow for sure. He will probably fall asleep at school.

A day of GREAT news

First off I had my six week post op appointment this morning in Birmingham. I got an A+ at my appointment, and I have been released to do whatever I want. No more restrictions(I have been lifting Kendall since the weekend), but hey I did good. I lasted 5 1/2 wks without lifting him and it was HARD!

The second big news of the day is I have a new nephew.

Paul Geoffrey was born this morning at 9:36 A.M. weighing 8lbs 12oz and 21 inches long. Congratulations to Geoff and Shannon and big sister Eliza. I talked to both Geoff and Shannon and they are doing well. I will not be posting pictures of him due to privacy to my family.

That is all the news I have for today.

Kendall is doing wonderful, but getting into everything.

15th month check up (actually 16 months though)

Kendall had his 15mth check up today. All went great. The dr. is really pleased with what he can do at his age, so that is always good to hear.

31 inches (30%) up from 29 1/2 inches at 1yr
48cm head (75%) big brain!!! not sure what he was at 1yr

He got three shots:

MMR (mumps, measles, rubella)
Chicken Pox
Flu

We go back in December for his 18mth appt.

So Long to the curls :(

As much as I hated to do it, we had to cut Kendall's curls today. His hair was getting so long and if it wasn't humid, he looked as if he had a sweet mullett. I sure did tear up when my mom took that first snip, and YES I'm one of those mom's that kept his locket of curl. Kasey can't understand why I would want to keep some hair. By the looks of the wave still in Kendall's hair though, I think those curls will be back soon. He looks really cute though with his new haircut and like a little boy. Our baby is growing up too fast. He turned 16 months old yesterday! Where has time gone? We have some touch ups to do tomorrow, but this is the new Kendall.
