Trying to steal daddy's money?!

Kendall decided he wanted daddy's money. He went and took the cubs hat off the top of the money jar and tried to take off with the jar. Oh what fun he is these days. Fun and Funny!

You can't leave him for a SECOND!

We know Kendall has loved books for awhile. He will go to his bookshelf and get just one book sometimes. When he does this I read it to him and he just sits there and listens and tries to turn the pages. I was trying to box up some stuff today in our spare bedroom and this is what happened. He decided he would just take all the books off the shelf. Our little stinker!

A Beautiful day at the Garden

We ventured out to the Botanical Garden on Saturday. It was a beautiful sunny day. Here are just a few of the pictures we took of Kendall.

Teeth, Curls, Cruisin, Clapping and getting stronger every day!

Phew where to begin!
We will begin with teeth. Kendall now has 6 teeth at 10 months. He has gotten his top two teeth that are on each side of his top middle teeth. They definatly have been the worse so far. We made it through it with some hylands teething tablets and a little bit of motrin. Isn't he cute! You can see four of his teeth in this one. The others have just popped through, so they are still hiding.

Next we have curls. Kendall's hair is getting longer in the back. At least he is finally getting some hair! Everywhere except the front that is. Oh well, one day he will have some there too. Anyway he has curls! Here is a picture of the starting of his curls.

He started to clap today. I have been really working with him trying to get him to clap. He finally started this

evening. I bet he will be clapping away in his music class tomorrow which he really loves by the way.

He is still really cruising everywhere and getting so much stronger each day. I can't believe how he has progressed in just a week. I got him a real pair of tennis shoes on Friday from Stride Rite (Thank you Nana Brown-we used your Easter money) and he really enjoys them and has done so much more now that he has them. He is starting to let go of what he is holding on to with one hand at least and just using one for his balance. It amazes all of us how much he is doing so quickly. At this rate he will be walking by 11 months I'm sure.

My Cruiser

It seems like if I leave Kendall for a weekend, I come back to him doing something new. Last week he really started trying to pull up on things and standing up. Well he mastered it while I was in Nashville this weekend with Kasey. We came home to a little boy who is standing up everywhere (including his crib) and pulling up on everything he can get his hands on to pull up on. Just a few pictures of him in action.

Nascar Busch Weekend

This past weekend, Kasey got the opportunity again to work on a Nascar pit crew. It was for the American Legion #76 Jerick Johnson car. Jerick did qualify and ended up 41st. I went along with him to the race (my very first Nascar experience) and had a great time. It was very cold in Nashville this weekend, but a lot of fun. I can't wait to do it again. Mom and Dad watched Kendall.

More Scrapbooking and more blurry pictures

Momma's New Hobby

Well after all the blogs I read daily and seeing all the scrapbooking that people do, I decided I would give my hand a try at it. Last week, I visited Hobby Lobby and Michaels for some scrapbooking supplies and started to scrap a little bit on Friday. Now I know I'm not anywhere near as good as people that do this all the time, but I think I'm improving just since Friday. Anyway here are some layouts that I completed this weekend. There are a couple of them that need some work, but overall I'm pretty excited about what I have done, since this is my first time doing this. Sorry the pictures are blurry!
