Surgery is scheduled

My surgery is scheduled for September 5. It is scheduled for 12:00 noon, but I have to be there at 10:00. I go for a preop on August 23. I could have had it Aug. 15, but I can't get in the water for 10 days and we are going to the beach the 25th.

Momma has continued Pelvic Pain and her visit to Dr. Perry in Birmingham

Ok most of you who read my blog know that I have been dealing with pelvic pain for 7+ years. I have had endometriosis for this time period to include 4 laproscopic surgeries and the removal of one of my ovaries. I continue to have pain. Last Thursday July 12 I went to see a pelvic pain specialist in Birmingham. What a relief! Dr. Perry was probably the best doctor I have ever seen. I spent 4 hours in his office with lots of different tests and lots of results and answers to my pain.

Some of the pain generators they found are:

Endometriosis-Stage III
Interstitial Cystitis which is a bladder condition
Pelvic Floor Muscle Spasm-muscle spasm in the pelvis
Vestibulitis is an inflammation of this skin and the mucous secreting glands found in the skin.
Iliopsoas Spasm(spasm in my low back)
Lichen Sclerosus-a skin disease
IBS
Pelvic Congestion is a disorder found in the veins connecting the pelvic area.
Break Through bleeding
Retroverted Uterus which is a tilted uterus(basically backwards)

What does this mean now? Well I have to have another laproscopic surgery in the near future. It is not scheduled yet, but will post when it is. It will be in Birmingham and it is outpatient, but they will keep me overnight so they can watch me since I'm from out of town. I'm on about 6 different medications for different things. I'm excited that I have some answers. It is going to be a long road ahead, but hopefully with the uplift of my uterus, that will correct a lot of the pain in itself.

Introducing Kruzer!

Introducing the newest addition to our house. Kruzer comes to us via drop off at mom and dads house. Kendall and Kruzer have become pretty close pals, so we decided to take on adoption duties. Kruzer is part golden retriever, part yellow lab and we think a little bit of hound somewhere in there. He is the sweetest puppy ever. He is very lazy though as you can see! He is between 5 and 6 months old, has been neutered, had his shots and all that good stuff. We are currently crate training him at night and he is in the back yard during the day. He just came to us last night. We look forward to many years with Kendall and Kruzer growing up together.

Future Pilot?

Kasey had to go to the hanger today to take some pictures for their company website. He came home to get his camera equipment, so Kendall and I decided to ride along with him. Do we have a future pilot in our family? Maybe he will grow up to be like daddy and be an ARMY aviator! Not knowing we were going to go to the hanger, I had dressed Kendall in his Future Pilot outfit today. You can't see it, but it has airplanes on it and says Future Pilot!

Part Beaver!?!

Doesn't he just look so innocent? Yeah until you look at his crib. He has decided that he is part beaver or some kind of chewing animal. This is what his crib looks like. We have tried the gummy rail and he chewed it off! We have something new on it's way to us to hopefully protect the rest of it.
