The beginning of my Lily's

Some of you may not know, but Lily's are one of my favorite flowers, hence my new baby girls middle name. Here are a couple of pictures of some of my lily's beginning to bloom. The bed that they are in is only Lily's. There are all kinds of lily's in there.

Happy 70th Birthday Carolyn!

I just wanted to wish my dear friend/coworker Carolyn a very Happy 70th Birthday. She is a very special and dear friend to me and my kids. I couldn't let the day go by without bringing Harper to the office for her to hold. I also had to be there for the "BIG" surprise that her niece Candi did for her. I was in on the surprise, so I knew about it, but Carolyn was very surprised when Candi flew in from Colorado to take her to Charleston, SC for a few days for her birthday. Happy Birthday Carolyn! We love you!!

A trip to the Botanical Garden

Mom and I took a trip to the Botanical Garden on Tuesday while Kendall was in school. It was a beautiful day. We have not had many days with sunshine, so we took advantage of it while we could. The flowers were gorgeous and the butterfly house was full of butterflies. We had lunch at Clementine's and then picked Kendall up at school. It was a good day.

Mother's Day 2009

Mother's Day was a great day. It was wonderful to have both my kids this year. Harper was not supposed to be here yet, so it was extra special to have her here too. Kasey is turning our back porch into a sunroom, so that is my Mother's Day! We went over to mom and dad's for dinner. Dad grilled burgers and we had corn on the cob as well. Overall it was a great day. I think the best thing about it though is just being the mommy to the two most amazing kids. I love them so much!

Harper Week 2

Harper's First Week

It's hard to believe that Harper will be 1 week old tonight at 7:20 pm. She has been the dream baby just like Kendall was. I actually have to set my alarm at night to feed her because she does not wake up and cry. Believe me I'm knocking on a lot of wood each day that it stays this way, but so far so good. Kendall is really enjoying her too. Here are some pictures that I have taken over the last week.
