Attacked by the fire ants!
Kendall thought it would be cool to go and discover a fire ant hill while they were outside looking at the colorful leaves on the trees at school on Friday. These aren't great pictures because it is kind of hard to get close enough to see, but he has about 20-25 bites on his hand. They are all filled up with puss now. You can probably see better in the bottom two pictures. Friday his hand was very swollen and red and covered with bites. Some have started to form a little scab, but most of them are just getting bigger and pussier. I think he probably learned NOT to touch an ant hill again. He's been a trooper about it though.

What?!
Apparently Kendall is not a big fan of his big boy bed these days. This is how I have been finding him when I check on him after I put him down for the night. He either is sleeping in front of the door where I can't open it, or he has gotten out the changing pad and put it somewhere in his room and laid down on it. This is tonight. Crazy boy! He is getting over a cough that has lingered for 3 wks. It was croup and I took him back to the doctor on Tuesday and he has a sinus infection, so is on antibiotics for 10 days now.

This is what happens.....
when Mommy does not feel very good because she is getting a cold and has a splitting headache, daddy is on his way to a race in Chattanooga and Kendall isn't really taking his nap like he is supposed to. He sounded like he was just playing nicely in his room over the monitor and I was hoping he would fall asleep. He finally did right in front of his door and when I tried to open it, this is what I smelled-baby wipes. I had to go through the bathroom door so I could get to Kendall. I guess the wipes need to be put on the top shelf and not where Mr. Trouble can reach them.

Halloween 2008 Pictures
Kendall had a really great Halloween all around from carving our pumpkin to his party at school and then trick or treating. He really got into trick or treating this year. He loved knocking on doors and saying trick or treat. In fact he is still saying it.
We hope that you all had a very Happy Halloween. Until next year, here are some pictures!
