Kendall is sick again and guess what! He was in daycare this week. This week, we made it 3 days instead of 2 before he got sick. I'm taking him to the dr. at 10:00 but in the meantime here is what is up. His teacher was out Tuesday and Wednesday with strep throat, so I'm thinking he was exposed to it on Monday. He has a 102 fever. Last night it was almost 103. Sound familiar? Sounds like a repeat performance of May.
On happier news, we got a call yesterday that Asbury has had a slot open up in the 12-18 mth class for Mothers Morning Out. I have been waiting for this slot. Kendall will start at MMO next Tuesday from 9-1. He will go Tuesday and Thursday's and be with my mom the rest of the time as usual. Hopefully him being around kids a couple times a week will get his immune system more up to par, so he doesn't get sick every time he goes.

UPDATE-He does not have strep. They will grow it overnight to make sure, but it came back negative. They pricked his finger and his blood looks good too. The dr. said he just has a fever virus that he picked up at daycare.
If you read a couple of posts down, you saw that Kendall got sick again at daycare last week. I had him at the doctor last Thursday and Friday. He started some antibiotics on Friday and has had diarrea since. Poor guy! The dr. finally switched his antibiotic yesterday, but told me to wait until today to start it. Well the last two mornings we have woken up to find Kendall laying in a blow out. Sheets, clothes everything covered. He didn't even cry to let us know. He just rolled over and laid beside it. He is such a trooper. Well he has not been having wet diapers due to this constant diarrea, so I took him back to the dr. today worrying he was dehydrating, especially with this 106 degree weather we have been having. They drew some blood which amazed the nurses when he didn't cry. They asked me if he was still producing tears and I said Kendall does not cry. His blood work came back good to show that he is not dehydrating. We are supposed to start the antibiotics tomorrow. I'm a little worried. Hopefully they won't be too bad. He just isn't eating really good. We just need him better by Friday. We are going to the beach and can't wait! It is going to be so much fun with him walking now. Actually he went from about 3 steps to trying to run over night and now he tries to run. He can walk all over a room without falling. He has great balance and coordination unlike his Momma!
